Writing workshops & services

I lead a series of bimonthly online workshops for beginning and experienced writers. Topics have included revision, plot construction, and scene setting. My friend & one of my favorite peer writers Maria Anderson built this community in 2019 & has entrusted it to me for almost a year now. 

January 2024: Goals & Intentions Workshop

Like many writers, I usually have a few spots open for manuscript consultations each semester. I am open to reading any genre of narrative in our one-on-one sessions. Consultations include an editorial letter, line notes, and a 75-minute phone call to discuss my comments.

I host a variety of monthly book clubs-- in-person and zoom, in Boston and elsewhere. As many as I can mentally & physically keep up with, all free. If you have questions about starting a book club in your town, I'm happy to offer tips and materials that bring people together. I believe books are the best way to connect!
